About Us

CRES Management, LLC (“CRES”) is a full-service multifamily investment and property management company.  Founded in 1995, CRES has more than 25 years of experience successfully executing value-add business plans and providing excellent services to its investors, owners, and residents.

 

Beginning with 780 units under management for third-party owners, CRES grew to more than 7,100 units under management with all but 222 owned by an affiliate of CRES.  CRES and its investment affiliate, JTL Real Estate Partners, have raised sponsor capital and have successfully sourced investment opportunities throughout the country.  With the extraordinary seller’s market from 2012 to 2014, CRES sold 5,700 units taking advantage of historically low interest and capitalization rates.  Today, CRES has 1771 units under management, of which 1,177 are owned by an affiliate of CRES.

 

CRES is currently owned by Jim and Teresa Lippert, John Stephenson, and Whitney Greaves and continues to focus on core-plus and value-add business plans for multifamily investments.

Assistant Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented person who functions well in a team environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, passionate, and accountable for achieving results. Candidates will be required to pass a criminal background investigation and drug test.

The Asst. Mgr. is responsible for leasing, marketing, and exhibits great customer service skills. This is a full-time position located in West Des Moines and is a great career opportunity for an energetic leasing professional. 

This position will report to the Property Manager.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Leases apartment homes to prospective residents.

  • Answers phone and email inquiries from prospective residents while encouraging them to visit the community.

  • Meets with prospective residents to determine the type of apartment to meet the prospect’s needs, while using innovative sales techniques to close lease sales.

  • Shows apartments and the overall community to prospective residents ensuring amenities are highlighted.
  • Contacts residents with expiring leases to discuss renewals and encourages lease renewals.

  • Takes resident calls for service or other needs while forwarding to the appropriate staff members. As appropriate, enters service requests, promotes good resident relations through courteous and timely response to resident needs.
  • Updates advertising pricing and special as needed.
  • Update and maintains all social media.
  • Conducts outreach marketing activity to ensure appropriate traffic levels are achieved and maintained.

  • Answers outside phone calls and greets visitors.

  • Performs other duties as assigned which are in the best interests of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Leasing experience required
  • Experience with OneSite preferred
  • Must be able to work Saturdays
  • Professional appearance
